Congratulations to all!
Congratulations to all those who participated in the first Alaska Milk Ironkids Philippines running event at Manila Polo Club last February. It was great fun and we were pleased so many children (and parents) came out.
In order to improve the registration process, we will now be issuing race packets at the time you register at Timex Gloreitta or Timex Megamall. However, in order to do this, YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR CHILD'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR PASSPORTUPON REGISTRATION.
For online registrations, WE WILL COURIER YOUR RACE KITS UPON RECEIVING A SCANNED COPY OF THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR PASSPORT BY EMAIL OR FAX. If we do not receive the passport of birth certificate, your race kit will not be sent...
The following items are in the race kits:
- A disposable timing chip which is affixed to your child's shoelace. Please do not substitute timing chips as these are already programmed with your child's information. There will be simple instructions to tie the chip on to their shoes
Kids Rule!

It was a perfect sunny morning! Everyone came with their biggest smiles as kids of different ages get ready at the starting line! Bang! The inaugural Alaska Milk Iron Kids Philippines was finally unleashed – suddenly the air was filled with intense happy emotions as mom and dad cheer! All the spectators clapped with exhilaration! 13 to 14 year olds started the event as they head towards the 3 kilometer goal! With smiles in their faces one can really feel how joyful each one of them are.
Then came the next group category. At exactly 7:15am, the 11 to 12 year olds hit the 2 kilometer race course in full speed. At 7:45am the 9 to 10 year olds took the 1.5 challenge with so much eagerness in their faces. And finally, the main event – the cute little boys and girls under 6 to 8 year old category made the race even more meaningful. In their innocence, everyone in the crowd was left with no other choice but to cheer and applaud as they ran away from the starting line! The atmosphere is very festive.
