Manila Polo Club

The 100-year old Manila Polo Club (MPC) was founded on November 27, 1909 by former Governor General of the Philippines William Cameron Forbes, a certified polo aficionado. The original clubhouse was burned down and was rebuilt in 1950 where it currently stands.

Through the years, the MPC has become a favorite sporting venue for several sporting events. The main sporting event at MPC is the polo season held annually during January. The event gathers the top polo players in the country to vie for the Enrique Zobel Cup.

Ironkids is the latest prestigious sporting event to be hosted by the MPC. Just like their adult counterparts, the children participating in the Ironkids event in the 1-kilometer, 1.5 kilometer, 2-kilometer and 3-kilometer categories will be thrilled and excited in an well-landscaped enviroment full of greens in the Enrique Zobel Field, named after one of the country’s top polo players.

The choice of MPC is perfect because it has a wide array of facilities not only for sports but also for social activities. Aside from being the major venue for all the polo events in the country, MPC offers has several facilities for sports aficionados such as an archery range, badminton courts, bowling center, fitness center, golf driving range, softball field, squash courts, swimming pools, tennis courts, polo and equestrian.
